Somebody Does

You feel so lost
Like you don't have a soul to talk to
You're down and out
You wonder what you're gonna do now
That everything's turning upside down
And you can't get you're feet on solid ground
Like no one's listening
No one's there
Like no one cares

But somebody does
Somebody will
Somebody's praying for you now
Praying for your heart to heal
You think you're alone
Well I promise you
Somebody's missing you, needing you
Thinking that you hung the moon
I know right now you feel like no one loves you
But somebody does

You used to smile
You used to light up the whole world
Where did it go
You've gotta find that spark again and let it show
But you're hiding it away there in the dark
Like you've forgotten who you really are
You think no one believes in you
But that's not true

But somebody does
Somebody will
Somebody's praying for you now
Praying for your heart to heal
You think you're alone
Well I promise you
Somebody's missing you, needing you
Thinking that you hung the moon
I know right now you feel like no one loves you
But somebody does
[x2]

Mmmm, somebody does

Song facts

"I wrote this one long before the Nashville Flood in May 2010, but pulled it back out after we lost our home and I saw all of the people coming from everywhere to help my family. It took on an entirely different meaning for me when I listened to it then. I dedicate this one to everyone that reached out to help rebuild Nashville." - Julie
