S.O.S
In distress
I'm going down like a zeppelin of led
Everything is such a mess
I can't remember the last time I slept
But what else could I possibly expect
Am I a boat built to sink
Am I a ship made to wreck

I've fallen overboard
My strength is washed ashore
Spiraling out of control
Caught in the eye of storm
I've fallen overboard
Although I'm weary and worn
I'm holding onto hope
'Cause I know hope won't let go

S.O.S.
As I tread
Tidal waves of regret
Crashing on my head
My body's frozen, fingers cold
And I can see my breath
But inside my chest
My heart it knows it's not over yet
(It's not over yet)

I've fallen overboard
My strength is washed ashore
Spiraling out of control
Caught in the eye of storm
I've fallen overboard
Although I'm weary and worn
I'm holding onto hope
'Cause I know hope won't let go

It carries you home
It carries you home
It carries you home

I've fallen overboard
My strength is washed ashore
Spiraling out of control
Caught in the eye of storm
I've fallen overboard
Although I'm weary and worn
I'm holding onto hope
'Cause I know hope won't let go
Hope won't let go

Song facts

"I wrote this as one of the very first songs for this album. It came after a period of leaving home for the first time, moving to Nashville and feeling lost at sea. Originally the plan was to live with our adopted granny for half a year and then tour, but we wound up writing this album for two more years and really feeling like we went overboard into the ocean and were in need of a rescue or some sort of wave pushing us in the right direction. But even amidst all the uncertainly of not knowing exactly when everything was going to happen, we knew God had a plan for all of this and He continues to be the one we lean on with our trust." - Adam Klutinoty
