Julia recorded the 'Memory Machine' in New York in late 2008. The album has been described as both haunting and mellow with dark undertones. The artwork for this is album is beautiful with old 'Hollywood' style film posters painted for each of the songs that appear on the record.
On "In The Memory Machine" Julia employs the talents of a range of musicians from her musical community and undertakes production duties alongside co-producers Keiran Kelly and Brad Albetta.
