Howlin' At the Moon is a collection of 12 songs from an extensive library written & co-written by Evan. His writing style is one of story songs with a lot of visual landscape about people, places, situations, love, pain, and the whole damn thing. "My ambition is to write the perfect song...one that reels you in from first breath and note to last, and causes you to hit the start button again, and again, and again..." Whether any of the songs become a commercial success or not, is really not what is driving Evan's actions as a writer/performer. It is simply a passion for writing songs that didn't exist before & for those songs to reach their audience. "For me it's more a matter of – when people hear a song, do they appreciate it enough to hear it again, or tell somebody about it."
